    It's the moto g gen 3 and I just got the phone 2 months ago and tried to get a replacement and the sight wouldn't let me

    Does the phone I bought from textnow have a sim card? I have a new phone and I wanted to take it out and put it in my new phone. Can I do that?

    Hey Tearsa!

    While most of our own devices do come pre-activated with their own SIM cards, the Moto G that you possess does not. Additionally, all of our TextNow device SIM cards are CDMA, and not compatible for device swapping.

    We'd love to be able to assist you with activating your new phone, simply contact us at orders@textnow.com with your new IMEI number, and we can look into its eligibility!

    Why can't I use Snapchat with my Motorola Moto g 3..

    This is the 2nd one I buy, and it lets me download the app itself , but it won't let me log in.. I read up on it and it says it has to do with my device certification, if it's uncertified Snapchat doesn't allow one to log in.. I checked my devices status and it is uncertified... Id like too replace my phone with one of the same kind but that will let me log in and use Snapchat..meaning a certified device!

    Hey Barbara! I'm afraid that all of our Moto G (3rd gen)'s will mostly like encounter this error.

    We have come up with a workaround, which I've sent you an email follow up with those instructions :)

    Why is my phone saying emergency calls only. I charged it and downloaded my gmail and everything. What's going on?

    Hi Mari,

    That type of message typically is an indication that phone is not able to get a network connection, so it will only work for emergencies. If you do have good coverage in your current location though, you can try simply toggling your Mobile data off and back on to see if it will get connected.

    I'm unable to play games on this P.OS phone, Everytime I touch the game controls the damn phone tries to open Google and another thing is that Google completely quit loading on this phone too, I disabled the app and uninstalled the updates then reinstalled them but the Google brozer still doesn't work! I have a Motorola G (gen 3) and is the biggest POS iv ever had! Another thing is that when I download games at then try to switch the games to my SD card the transfer but it doesn't free any space on the internal memory do the SD card slot is worthless

    Hey Joyce!

    So the phone won't be able to update the OS version, since we (the carrier) need to be able to send you an OTA update ourselves- which we do not currently support on the Moto E.

    If the update you're referring to is an app update, you may need to clear up some more space by removing some apps, or media files.

    Lastly, with regards to the SD card, Motorola does not allow for apps to be moved over to an SD card. It can only be used for media file storage (pictures, videos, music). We do apologize for the inconvenience!
