Change Your Payment Method

With TextNow, you can change your card on your account at any time, and make other adjustments to your payments and account balance. Here's how!

From your My Wireless Account page here on TextNow.com, click on Manage Payments to get to this page:

From this page you'll be able to edit or remove a card already associated with your account, add a new card to use as the default payment option, and add money to your account balance for use in future payments or for international long distance calling.

 



Edit or Remove a Credit/Debit Card:

1. Go to the My Wireless Account page and click on Manage Payments.

2. On the card listed as Primary, click on Edit to edit the card information (cardholder name, expiry date, and billing address for the card). 

3. To delete the card, click Remove. Note that you cannot remove your Primary card, and we need to have at least one credit or debit card to use with your TextNow account. 

 


 

Add a New Card:

1. Go to the My Wireless Account page and click on Manage Payments.

2. Click on Add a New Card.

3. Enter your card information.

4. If you would like that card to be your Primary, check the box for Make This My Primary Card

Add Money To Your Account Balance:

1. Go to the My Wireless Account page and click on Manage Payments.

2. Click on Add Money in the top right-hand corner.

3. Click on the amount you'd like to add to your account balance ($5, $10 or $20).

4. Click Continue to charge the Primary card you have on file with us for the amount chosen.

5. Your account balance will show the updated amount.

    Hi @Ruby- I can see that the $20 account balance amount was refunded on January 19th. While it has been refunded from our system, it may take your banking institution anywhere between 2-10 business days to process the refund. Please contact our live chat support if the refund has still not been posted by the end of this week.

    @James- There is a bit of confusion on your account, which I can clear up. Your billing was on the 1st of each month, however, last month, you restarted your subscription through your account on December 28th, using up the $20 credit you added to do so. This also changed your billing period, so the renewal is on January 28th. So at the moment, we are trying to charge your card on file, and it is failing.

    Today I decided to start up my wireless service again with this company after leaving them for quite some time cause of the horrible service. Low and behold I go to my bank app and it states there was not only one charge for 19.99 but there ARE THREE PENDING TRANSACTIONS FOR 19.99 EACH!!! IM PRETTY SURE THAT IF I COULD AFFORD TO SPEND 60.00 ON PHONE TIME I WOULD HAVE DONE IT WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! NOW MY BAMK ACCPUNT

    Hey Steve! It seems that instead of paying for a simple reactivation through the "activate your device" link on the site, you placed an order for a GSM SIM card for an unlocked GSM phone? That order went through 3 times. Now, all 3 SIM cards have been shipped. We can certainly help you with refunding the extra charges, and if you did in fact want to activate a different device, we can assist you with that as well once you receive the SIM card.

    Hey Jami! It doesn't seem like you cancelled the subscription, but simply went delinquent. The 23rd was the last attempt for payment, and the account is now officially expired (cancelled)

    I made a payment with my card and I got a mesg saying THANKS FOR YOUR PAYMENT, but I keep getting mesgs saying PAYMENT FAILED! What is going on with that???

    I was having a problem over the past few days where the app wasn't processing my payment for the 9.99/month plan. It looks like it went through, but now i was charged for two separate payments of 18.99. I guess I can try the 18.99 plan but i would like to have the second payment removed. Please help me.

    Hi, less than a year ago I added 27.99 into my account. I tried to set up a plan but the sim card absolutely would not work in my phone so I'm stuck with these credits that I will never use. I would extremely appreciate a refund of the credits. I have changed debit cards since purchasing the credits and I'm having trouble switching cards for the account. I am unable to change my payment information, it doesn't even appear as an option on the My Wireless Account page. Is it possible to change card information on the computer? Thanks

    Hey Garrett! Sorry to hear that you couldn't activate the SIM card.

    I've made a one time exception here and refunded your $27.99. As our billing system can only reverse charges, we can't direct it to any other card other than the one that your order was originally created with (*8306)

    If you're received a replacement card since then, but it's with the same bank, your bank should be able to direct those funds into your new card.
