TextNow APN Settings For GSM Android Devices

For easy reference, here are the APN settings TextNow uses with our GSM SIM cards. If you're having trouble connecting to 3G/4G data, make sure these APN settings are correct under the main Settings menu on your device:

    Hi,
    I have double checked the apn settings and restarted my phone multiple times, yet I am not able to register on the network. I have an unlocked Lenovo note K6. Please help.

    Got my sim card today. Did these steps about 10 times. I double/triple checked the numbers to make sure what I entered is correct. Does not work. Really upset!!

    Try turning off your WiFi after you restart your phone and click that you have done all the steps. Keep WiFi off and make a phone call...

    I tried activating a new sim card on a different carrier in hopes that I get better call quality because I have never had such terrible call quality as I do with textnow on the ATT and T mobile network and there's a tower less than a mile from my house. But the new sim won't let me add the APN. I've done this before and activated a few phones with textnow but this time after I input the APN info and hit save, nothing happens. Just goes back to the apn menu and it's all completely blank. I've already tried reinstalling the sim and rebooting my phone and reconfiguring my phone so give me some other ways to fix this. This shouldn't be that hard for us customers to get service with you guys. Please someone help. Last time I submitted a support request I got nothing and no help so it's making me want to go back to Metro PCS...

    Hey Renee! When a phone doesn't allow for APN settings to be managed/edited, it can usually mean that the phone is carrier-locked. Unfortunately, we won't be able to assist with that.

    I would recommend to follow the callback instructions, as there seems to be some confusion as to the order of these accounts, and what you would like to do with them!

    I would recommend taking a look at our SIM card video tutorial video so you can make sure that you're completing all the required steps to get your phone activated with the CDMA SIM card that you have received.
