Fraud Screening

TextNow is a small (but growing!) company, and every phone purchase made is important to both us and to our customers. Fraud orders are not just a problem for the person who might potentially be defrauded, but it also hurts our ability to offer our phones at affordable prices.

To that end, we employ fraud screening software that will flag orders that seem incorrect. If your order is flagged by our fraud screening process, you'll see this on your My Wireless Account page:

Once you have the pictures saved to your computer or your mobile device, click on the Select buttons to upload the images of the credit card and ID, respectively, and then click Submit.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As the above screen says, for your credit card we only need to see the last four digits of your card number, your name, and the expiration date. For your ID, we need to see a government-issued ID - we will not accept student cards, bus passes, or other cards. 

Once you've completed the upload, you'll see this page:

That's it! Your order is ready to be packed up and shipped to you.

    So my girlfriends mom is buying me the phone and starting my plan. So does her name have to be on the account

    You can use your name on the account! If she is buying the phone and plan her name will just be on the billing information.

    I got approved for the phone on Wednesday, when I came back on Saturday to purchase it, I was no longer approved. Also I go to buy the Sim Card and it said push here to recieve $20 off The order, but still trying to pull $39 off at checkout. This is getting kinda old..

    Mine account page has said "processing order" for multiple days. I have received no email confirmation or a fraud screening flag. I need to know when my order will be shipped seeing as affirm has emailed approving the order

    Paid for wireless account. It's approved and says.my account active. It's not active at all. Sending report to proper authorities. Heard this is surely a scam

    It looks like you have upgraded to our Premium service which allows you to use the app ad-free, as well as have access to some additional premium features. If you are seeing ads on your account still or are not able to use the account for whatever reason, please let us know.

    Please note that if you were wanting to use the service for calling and texting off of WIFI, you would need to upgrade to one of our wireless plans. The premium subscription you have now does not provide you with any data service. You can check out our various plans and features here.
