Font Size

Is there a way to make the font bigger in the application? As an example, when txt;ing I can barely read the screen.

Love the app otherwise!

Hi Mike,

That's a great question! I'm afraid that we do not have the ability to do so as of yet, however, you can always look into options of increasing the font size altogether on the device you are using through its native settings.

Totally agree. The app is called text now and you can't even adjust the text size? WTH?

Also not happy that sometimes there is a delay in receiving texts. A few days ago I sent a text and didn't hear back, so I sent another, then later the text that I should have gotten showed up, making me look like a fool for sending the follow up text.

Hi there!

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. It appears as though you are mainly using the service over the browser. Would you be able to try a different browser to test out whether it gives you better results?

Thanks in advance :)

No, I'm using the app on a phone and tablet. I only used a browser to add this input.

Another question for ya. Text Now picks up my contacts on my phone but since my tablet isn't my phone, how do I get Text Now to see my phone contacts on my tablet? I don't see any option for adding contacts on my tablet.

Hey,

Great question! TextNow does not natively store contacts within the application and instead accesses the contact list built into the operating system. If you'd like to see the same list of contacts on your tablet you'll just need to sync that information.

Syncing contacts over Gmail.

I hope this helps!

Increasing the overall Iphone font does not change the Textnow font size.  Seems Textnow font is default.  I can barely read the text on my iphon 6 plus.  I also have an iphone SE.. Forget it.. there is no way of reading the text. Can't even do the pinch increase.  It's ashame.. great app and the only way to use it is on a PC.

Hi Mitzo,

Thanks for your inquiry! You are correct, our application does not fully support Dynamic Type which is required for the application font to sync with the iPhone settings. We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you, but we will look into offering more features like this for users in the future. We appreciate the feedback!
