an error has occurred, try again later

 Hello, I am having the same problem as many others. When I get to area code portion I get the message. For 2 days now. Please help. I need 423 area code. thanks in advance - Nick

I've assigned you a number with the 423 area code and it should be activated immediately.

I've also had this same problem recently, I'm attempting to get a 928 area code, thanks for any help

Thanks for reaching out! I'm afraid there are no 780 area codes available currently so I'm unable to assign you such a number right now.

Is there another area code that you wouldn't mind? You can try to request another area code through your account or let us know you preferences here and we can check for you!

Hi Mona,

A new number has now been assigned to your account. If you don't see it right away just close and re-open the app and you can find the number in the menu of your TextNow application :)

Hi, again. I am using the app on windows 10 and it still prompts me to enter an area code. Same error pops up. Hoping to get a 469 area code.

Hi Mona,

TextNow is no longer supported on Windows, but I have taken a look at your account and you still have a 469 number assigned to the account currently. You can use the account through your Android app or on a browser at www.textnow.com, but the Windows app likely will no longer work.

Once you're logged in to one of our supported channels you should be able to see your existing number still :)

Pls...I am having issues getting a number. I want area code 231, or 910....I don't even mind any area code. Anyone is OK by me. I kept getting "an error has occurred " message. Pls help me by assigning a number to me directly.

Hi Brooke,

It looks like you haven't completed the captcha requirement when setting up your account. Once the captcha requirement has been completed you will be able to request a phone number.

It looks like you too have not successfully completed the Captcha requirement for your account. Please login and complete the Captcha verification steps. Once complete you will then be able to request a number.
