Look please help answer my question. May I have someone else order my phone and my plan because I do not have credit card. And when does this offer end?

Hey Michelle! It is possible to have a friend or family member order the phone and plan for you with their credit card, as long as they are aware that they might be prompted to go through a fraud screening to prove the charge was legitimate.

Hi there! If you purchase one of our own phones, it will already come activated with its own SIM card.

You have poor support. I looked all over for an email or phone number but couldn't find one. Finally, I found chat. But he could not answer basic questions. One of them is my Premium plan going to be renewed automatically with the credit card or do I have to go in manually each time to renew it. I got conflicting texts from TextNow about it. Plus another basic service isn't working here and he didn't know when it was going to work. I will be searching for another provider. Plus he didn't know the phone number or email to contact TextNow!

Hey Kerry! Sorry to hear that, not sure who you talked to as the account you're using right now doesn't have any notes on it (but that's not to say that your experience wasn't poor). 

To answer your first question, if you did upgrade to premium, it would renew automatically using your Google account (or Apple account) billing information (so whatever card you have registered through your PlayStore or Apple ID account).

why does my email address show as caller ID when i send text messages?

Hi Mike,

Your TextNow phone number should show up as the "Caller ID" for recipients of your text messages. We had been experiencing an issue with outgoing texts last week and had to make a temporary change so texts were sending from your texting address instead. If you experienced this and are continuing a thread that was made at that time your texting address will continue to show. I would recommend creating a new thread to your contact which should use your TextNow number since we had resolved the previously mentioned issue.

If you continue to have trouble with this though, please email community@textnow.com so we can investigate this further and help you get this resolved.
