The conversation history can by found in the "conversations" tab of your TextNow app. You will see the most recent activity at the top of that page with the number that called you.
Call History: Where is it?
Someone called me. I need the number but I answered it. Where is the call history? If I had not answered it an email notification would have been sent.

I"m not using a phone. I'm using the website and the Textnow Windows (desktop) app.
There ain't no "conversations" tab anywhere on either the website window or the Window/Desktop window.
When you login to your account on a browser, select the "Text & Call Online" option to be brought to your conversations. On the Windows app, you will be brought to that page as soon as you login, it is the default page.

I have no idea what you're talking about. There is no "Text and Call Online" option anywhere that I see on the Windows app.
> On the Windows app, you will be brought to that page as soon as you login, it is the default page.
Have you ever used this program? First of all I am not brought to any other page except my messages when I log in. That's it. And under File, Edit, View and Help there is nothing remotely like what you suggested. Please come back to Earth and try the wonderful communication program aptly named Textnow.
This page is part of supportwireless.textnow.com and maybe that's the problem. Maybe you people are familiar with the mobile app but that seems to be vastly different from the Windows app and the page you get when you log in on the textnow.com website.
I realize most people use the mobile app. If I ever get a phone I'll start swimming in that pool too!
The "Text & Call Online" option can be found at the top of TextNow.com on a browser, as I mentioned - not the Windows app.
The messages page you mentioned you see when opening the Windows app is in fact the conversations page, so that is exactly as described. The top conversation thread you see there will be from the number that last called or messaged you.
Rest assured that I am extremely familiar with all of our product offerings on both PC and mobile application, and it sounds like you were able to get to the correct conversations page on the Desktop app where you were able to see your messages. If for any reason you are continuing to have trouble, please let us know.

Not on mine. What I have at the top is New Call and New Text that are icons. The text is displayed when I hover the mouse pointer on top of each. What planet are you on? :)

Yes, that displays properly. Of course there is nothing there remotely related to calling history. But the conversation list is displaying fine.
The way TextNow works is, your call history will appear within your conversation history amongst your messaging threads. So, if you have received a call and answered it, once the call is over you can go back to that main conversations screen, select the top thread, and from there you will see any messages you had had with that number previously as well as a bubble stating that there was an incoming call which you had just answered. Alternatively if you decided not to answer the call it would state "Missed Call" within the thread.
I do wonder if any of you have ever used this program NOT using a cell phone. There is a world outside of the very limited world of the mobile. You should explore it sometime. I keep on getting replies that show you simply are unfamiliar with this program.
You say, "your call history will appear within your conversation history amongst your messaging threads"
Yeah? Well it doesn't appear if you answer the call. It only appears if you do NOT answer the call. The same if someone leaves a voicemail. That will appear along with the number. But if you answer the call there is no record left. I've seen this occur many, many times. I just thought the designers may have realized this discrepancy and fixed it by now. Please tell them. This is a severe deficiency, probably easily corrected.
It appears that this feature is not available on our web application because that call history information is not shared between platforms. For this reason the incoming and outgoing call history is not shown on your web application. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope that this is something we will be able to provide to all users in the future.
Why only incoming calls appear in Call History on PC platform? Why TextNow doesn't save info on outgoing calls from a web browser, regardless answered or not? This seems to be a major deficiency. People use TextNow for extra privacy due to Web RTC protocol, and some outgoing calls must be referred to in the future in correspondence. But there is no way to preserve outgoing calls history now - WHY???????
Also you promised a year ago that Call History between mobile and PC platforms will be shared in the future. It seems now working - thank you for implementing!
In addition, as a feature suggestion, pls add the ability for an aggregated Call History on TextNow website for a registered user from several TextNow phone numbers. As you know, many users have several phone numbers used for different purposes or tasks. Also, at times TextNow phone number expires, and the user has to obtain a new one. There is a strong need to preserve the entire user call history aggregated in one place, upon login to TextNow user account, not to browser messaging web page. Call logs must be stored under each past and current phone number on the user account page, including mobile and PC based calls. The logs may expire and be deleted within 1 year, but allow the user to export them into an Excel or HTML formatted file.
The app deletes call logs on its own.
