fraud@textnow.com Scam?

I've recently ordered a phone from TextNow and shortly after the transaction I received an email from fraud@textnow.com, I'm questioning whether this is legitimate or a scam. Before I send anything, I'd like some clarification please

Thanks for reaching out to TextNow Wireless support. Rest assured the fraud@textnow.com is a legitimate email from our fraud department.

The reason for the email is with a no contract, no credit check approach to phones we are contacted by many people trying to place unauthorized orders.

Or fraud verification is in place to protect consumers from unauthorized purchases.

Hi Henry,

I've taken a look at your account and see that your order is pending a fraud screening. we actually replied to your email on Oct 7th, so please see if you can find our reply there with directions to complete your fraud screening and get your order sent out.

Hi , I was looking at phones. My mother's information automatically sent to my account but I can't purchase untill I've discussed it all with her but it won't let me go back to previous page to erase her information. I want to cancel the pending purchase untill she can do it her self , but I'm having such difficultly doing so. It says it was confirmed it shouldn't have been but it's waiting on more information but stuck on that page. I just want it cancelled and her card auto fill gone. Please help. Thanks.

Hey Krysten! I've cancelled the order, and it should be refunded. The funds may take 2-10 business days to be posted on your banking account
