So I did the clear cache, clear data and force stop, as suggested in another response. Seems to be working now! I can call out, and receive calls. All good.
Can't call or receive calls on new account
Hi. I just set up my free TextNow account. I can send and receive text messages no problem, but I can't make or receive a call. If I try to make a call, the app immediately hangs up. If I try calling my TextNow number, I get a message saying customer not connected. I have full data connection on my device. One thing to note is that I have a dual sim device. My data account is attached to SIM1. Would this be causing any issues? Or is there some "wait" time before I can make or receive calls?

My number just ported. I cleared my cache still cant call or receive calls

It appears that you're using a slightly outdated version of TextNow so I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your device and then testing the calls again. Hi I've been having a problem very similar where whenever I call someone it will then tell me the call call has been rejected and will hang up. It says the same whenever anyone tries to call me. I can send and receive texts but nothing seems to fix this probably including what everyone has suggested so far. Please fix this.

Hey there! I believe you may be affected by a recent bug that we discovered. A fix is going out in the 6.7.0 release (will be out by the end of the week), so I would recommend to just look out for app updates!
Hello i just bought a new android phone its an Alcatel. I downloaded textnow and log in and when i enter a cell phone number and dial it its not going through it is saying "No network connection. Please try again or enable roaming data calls in settings.
When i do enable data roaming in settings its still not going through its now saying "No network connection. Please try again"
