Hi Brittany! I do not believe we have any immediate future plans for that, but I can certainly pass it along!

Hi Queen! If you can't access your account through your Kindle, please try to do so online or on any other Android/iOS device you may have access to.

According to the Amazon Kindle Fire tablet that I have, TextNow cannot work without Google Play Services, which is not supported by the tablet. That is the pop-up dialog small window field that shows after I installed TN with APKPure.

Hi there - unfortunately we do not support the use of APKs - but you can login online using your tablet

Ahoy! I want to say that I now have the TextNow app onto an RCA Voyager III tablet that uses the Google Android operating system. When I went to the Google Play app store to download it, it showed: This app may not be optimized for your device. I take that to mean that it can still be put into my tablet, but that it may not work? Well, I downloaded it and it installed. It does seem to work as it should. I guess that because it is a generic Google Android tablet, it prevents TextNow from being incompatible?

Hi Richard,

You can take a look at our support article here: https://supportfree.textnow.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021902532

Typically if the device has any sort of customized operating system or if you're using a device emulator or anything like that, you will no longer be able to use your TextNow account on that device.

It is also possible that the device is simply using an outdated OS.

Thanks for the reply, Madison. I just know that I like the generic Google Android tablet that I have. It charges fast and it has complete access to the Google Play appstore and everything Google! It works as if though it is a smartphone, but I do not see where a sim can be put in. It makes calls that work, unlike some early generation Amazon Kindle Fire tablets that cannot do voice calls unless Line 2 is used. Plus, it comes with a pre-installed Gmail app and another built-in email app that works! I should use it tomorrow, so I do not lose my TextNow myfirerls@gmail.com account number. I have been using a variety of smartphones and tablets, so that I set up all the ones I have just the way I like.
