Customer Service Disabled Tech Support For My Account

Their phone contact line on their main site leads to 1-888-250-5255 for support; this number does not connect you to anyone but leads directly back to their online site for every single option, of which there are zero. Only hangs up on you after telling you to go to the website.

Customer chat booted and disabled me after me requesting to be kicked back in queue while I wait for another tech.


No conceivable way to communicate with a human from this company. Why should I give you any more money?

Hi there! We no longer have live phone support, and that number (1-888-250-5255) will lead you back to our website. 

For support, we still have our live chat support, or alternatively, for more complex troubleshooting, you can always schedule a callback with one of our agents. For a full tour of our options, you can view this tutorial

I apologize that your initial chat was disconnected, as our terms do state that any unprofessional or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

And after several years w/ this company I am only just now learning that speaking to a tech is no longer possible. Watched the suggested tutorial & NOT ONE SINGLE WORD as to how to schedule a callback from a tech if I have more complex issues. My most recent phone purchase (Dec 1st, 2017) has been a severe disappointment, lots of failing services & I would really like to figure out a way to get this phone back to the company for account credit & bring my own. But then again, if TextNow is no longer interested in providing decent tech support, then, to echo KC above, why should I give you any more money? Looks like it's Google time for affordable cell phone service where you can actually talk to a live person. Oh, and I noticed that you no longer take calls, but have now posted the photos & first names of all your employees. Seems like a few of them could be taking calls, but I guess not.

Hey Terri! If you watch this tutorial and skip to the 2:00 minute mark, we do show you the different tiles in the Support section, including the one where you can schedule a callback with us! 

I apologize for the frustration that you've been experiencing, as I understand not all technical issues are intuitive and will need more attention. For that reason, we still kept the option to schedule a callback, and hopefully you're able to resolve your issue :)
