i currently have the same problem. My phone broke so i am trying to replace it and i clicked all that but it wont let me replace my old phone.
Buying a upgraded phone because text now don't want to sell you one!
I bought to get me by until I could afford to upgrade to a better phone. But when I try to buy a better phone because lets just face it the first one is a total piece of junk that don't keep its charge. Text now wont let me buy a better do they really want my service!!!! I WANT A DIFFERENT BETTER PHONE!!!!!! It my money I should be allowed to buy one and not told I have to go threw a hole fricking run around to get it . I am adult I don't need permeation to spend my own money. I try to upgrade to a better phone I mark it as using it with existing account click buy it now and it wont let me buy it!!!!! Now either make it so I can upgrade my phone on my existing service with out a run around or loose a costumer. Because I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS!!!

I just finally got so mad I decided to stop paying for the service. I don't need a cell phone so bad to put up with that much of a headache. The cell phone they sent me would not hold a charge and it was small. The small part I knew and planned on upgrading to a bigger one when I could afford it. But the inability to hold a charge for anything other then a few hours when not in use I did not know. It wont even hold a charge for 8 hours while I sleep ridiculous. And yes I plugged it in just before I went to bed and asleep in hopes it would at least have enough charge to plug it back in in the morning and still get my 1 or 2 messages if have them from a friend. So since they don't want my paid service I wont ingratiate them with it. That means I do not have an actual cell phone when I leave my home but I can deal with that and just use free apps. because if really that important the people will call me back when I get home. and all cell phone weather or not they have service can make 911 calls in an emergency as long as its charged.

Well you delay cost you a paying costumer. I suggest you work on being better at serving you costumers. Just because you are a low cost company does not mean you can treat your costumers as low class people. After all the money we spend is just as good as anyone elses. Start treating us as such. You need to make it if people choose to upgrade their phone they can without upgrading their plan. I am 54 years old. I got first phone as a starter phone that is why I tolerated the problems with it once I got it, Because I planed to get a better phone I could see clearly once I could afford it. And speaking of which you need to post screen sizes clearly on the phones you offer. Elderly people are on fixed budgets but need larger screens and they want to option to use their phone just like the younger generation. We like apps and games it is not just for the young. in fact apps games can make a elderly persons wait time in a clinic or pharmacy very pleasant. So I guise you can say we like games and apps more then the younger generation. And we are the ones who broke our body making the things the younger kids like so much. So I think we deserve to have the things we made the young kids enjoy now so much because if it wasn't for us they wouldn't have it and feel entitled to be more deserving of it then the older people. We deserve just the same as anyone else fixed budget or not. Because without us you wouldn't have what you have. We don't want better then everyone else we want equal we worked for it.

2 No you can not buy a phone and keep your present plan because when you try to buy a new phone to upgrade or replace a broken phone as girl on my post did. You get a message stating you already have a phone to contact costumer support.
We don't want to contact costumer support we wanted new phone. But we was not able to perches one. But you act as if we don't know what we want and direct us to costumer support instead of allowing us to buy what we want. A NEW PHONE WITHOUT A NEW PLAN!

I understand that some details may be more technical, but for sizing reasons, we can't show a screen's actual size to scale on the website, we can only list it in inches, as is common practice amongst phone specs listing.
With regards to upgrading your phone, I did initially state that "since our phones are highly subsidized, we can't afford continuous upgrades until a certain period of time has passed on your plan. But we can work with you individually to help you out with any questions/inquiries! "
What this means is that the phone that you purchased was at a price that is lower than what we paid for it. So to make up for that loss, a certain period of time of you using and paying for the service plan has to pass before we can afford to let you (and other customers alike) to upgrade their phones. Since this will change on individual levels, depending on usage time and other factors alike, the best way to reach a resolution is to speak to a service agent directly (such as on our live chat support) so they can look over your account, your plan purchase intentions and give you the best offer/solution.
I finally got the problem resolved. Thank you very much. I will get a good working phone hopefully and still have my plan. And will sending my broke down thing back to you.
