Please Restore My Phone Number

Good afternoon.  I am not getting my wife's texts because over a the weekend, my phone number was changed.  I do not know why I lost my number, I am active every day.

Can you please restore 7******1 for me?

Thank you

Hi Rob,

Looks like you removed it from your account today. Luckily the number was available, so I have put it back on your account as a one time exception. Know if the number is removed or recycled from the account in the future we will not be able to retrieve it again.

Thank you very much!   How to I prevent my number from being lost again in the future?

I did nothing to remove the number 7******1.

I did a chat earlier and it advised me to hit release number, but that was for 6******0, a number I do not want.

My account is still showing the 646- number.

I would like 7******1 restored.

My old number is showing online now.

How can I prevent this from happening again?

Thank you, Madison!

I see. By clicking 'release number' you would have released your old number. If you see any message stating your number is going to be released, I advise you send messages and make a call to ensure the number is active.

Please note: I have blocked the numbers out for your privacy (these are public posts)

I never received that message about a number release, and I do text at least once a day.

Hi Rob,

This time you manually released the number from your account so you wouldn't have received those messages reminding you to use the number. If you don't use the number enough we will send you a reminder to send a text or make a call to keep the number active.

Since this time you manually released the number through your app, you'll just want to not do that in the future if you want to keep your number.
