Can you use Text Now number and your regular carrier number at the same time?

Can the free app be set up so that you can still receive calls on your "real" phone number when bit in WiFi coverage?

Hey there! Unfortunately, we can't set up two numbers on your TextNow account. If you have a premium subscription, you can set up call forwarding, so anyone calling your TextNow number would be forwarded to your regular carrier's number.

And lastly, depending on the OS that you're using on your phone and your carrier, you may be able to set up Wi-Fi calling through your phone's settings for your regular number!

HI Valeria,

Thanks for that response. It partially answers my question.

What I really need to know is: if I set up TextNow app on my phone and make it my default phone and messaging app (which I basically have to do to get it to work), and then someone phones my regular carrier number, what happens on my phone?  Does it still ring through so I can answer it, or will my phone now only ring and be able to be answered when the TextNow number is called?

Your regular phone number will still ring.

Setting it as the default will only make sure that when copy/pasting a number, and the phone prompts you to text or call it, it will pull up the TextNow app to do so instead of your native app
