Desktop upgrade to Premium

I plan to mainly run TextNow on my 64-bit Windows 10 Pro desktop and have been trying to find how to upgrade to Premium.  It says that it's done through Microsoft Store, but I can't seem to find it there.  Can you help, maybe a link to it?

Hey Tom! I'm not sure where it's telling you to upgrade through the Microsoft store, but our premium subscription is currently only available to be purchased through either an Android or iOS device. For more information, check out this FAQ section

Hi Tom,

The premium features won't transfer to your desktop application. Since the premium upgrade is available through either the Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS), any upgrade will not be recognized when you use your account on your desktop. I would not recommend upgrading to premium unless you're primarily using an Android or iOS app.

Thank you for the excellent clarification!  So upgrading via my Android tablet means I can still use my desktop as I always have, but don't have to worry about losing my number due to inactivity?

That's correct Tom! If you upgrade to a premium subscription your number will be locked to your account even if inactive, but you won't be able to take advantage of the ad-free feature on your desktop. Hope that helps :)

Thank you for the assistance, Erin.  Your answer addresses my concerns exactly.  I'd like to make a feature request that the desktop version include subscription and the features found in the the other versions.  I know there is another forum for feature requests and I'll post my request there, too.  I'll bet there are a lot of people who would like to text from their PC, be it a laptop or desktop.
