"You appear to be offline. Please try again later"

Whenever I open the TextNow app and attempt to log in to my account, I get a message at the bottom of the screen that reads: "You appear to be offline. Please try again later". Image: http://prntscr.com/o4layt

I have an internet connection, and it works fine, I have checked an verified. Has anybody had this problem recently?

Hi there! You seem to be using an outdated version of the desktop app. What Windows OS are you using?

Thanks! 

We actually don't support the desktop app on versions older than Windows 10, so I would recommend to simply use the browser version instead for full functionality.
