Activation issues

New account, got phone number, had to change email, once that was done, got verified, trying to activate my device, Everytime I enter the IMEI a pop up appears stating an error has occurred. It seems the app is working, but all calls go to voice mail, that the caller never gets, text messages do not go though either, assuming that is due to activition not being completed. Can not get past the IMEI input, do I need a TextNow sim or is there other issues with the device, it is a OEM and model sold by TextNow. If it is the device can settings be reconfigured?

Hey there! Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. 

If you're trying to set up your phone with our Nationwide service, you will need a Sprint/TextNow SIM card in the phone. If you do not have one, you can purchase one for a one-time payment of $9.99. 

If you have all of that, and it's still failing, please head over to our live chat support between 10am-5:30pm EST (found on the bottom right-hand side of this page) for further troubleshooting support. 

Please keep in mind that you can already use the app for free over Wi-Fi for calling and texting as well, in the meantime.
