Activation Kit SIM "Not Compatible" with my iPhone 6Plus iOS 12.4.5

I have been using the TextNow app for iPhone for several years and have been very pleased with my service until now. I wanted to activate the Free Talk & Text Service that is now being offered. I checked my phone’s compatibility via the TextNow app by entering my IMEI number and ICCID, which indicated that my iPhone 6 Plus iOS 12.4.5 was indeed compatible.

I then ordered the TextNow Activation Kit for $9.99 via the app. TextNow sent me the Activation Kit, which is basically a new SIM card from Sprint, which i installed. However, when i went to activate my new SIM card via the TextNow app it says “Phone is Not Compatible”.

Why did they bait me to buy an incompatible SIM card?  How do i return the incompatible SIM and get my money back?

Certainly not the "welcome" experience we're hoping for! 

I see that you were able to reach out to live chat support, and the escalation to our development team was put forth, as it simply seems to be a bug on our end. We appreciate your cooperation in this, and will reach out with an update once we have one!

It's been two weeks now, and i still have not received any response from the engineering team. i ordered and paid for a TextNow "Free Talk & Text" activation kit.  i installed the SIM, The SIM is active in my iphon6 plus.  But i cannot activate it within the textnow app.

 

i paid for a SIM that i cannot seem to activate or use.

 

please advise.
